Library Will Not Receive 2009 Tax Forms

Driftwood Public Library will not be receiving 2009 Tax Forms for public distribution from either the IRS or The State of Oregon this year. For those interested in acquiring tax forms, both organizations encourage taxpayers to visit their respective websites: www.irs.gov/formspubs/index.html and www.oregon.gov/DOR/forms.shtml. All forms and instructions are available on both websites and can be accessed on the library's Public Internet Terminals and printed out for $0.10 per page.

For those without computer access, forms may be obtained by calling your local tax offices. IRS offices in Salem may be reached at 503 391 9179 or in Eugene at 541 465 6739 or toll free at 1 800 TAX FORMS (800 829 3676). The State of Oregon Department of Revenue may be reached at 503 378 4988 or toll-free within Oregon at 800 356 4222.
